The University Of Ulster, Jordanstown formula student team that competes in an international motorsport competition where they design, manufacture and race a high performance single seat race car.
The 2008/9 offering from Apex racing looks to have gotten off to a splendid start with a healthy 15 man team. Check out the team page for the names of the guys and their roles within the team. The academic staff want to take this opportunity to wish the team all the best for the year ahead.
The 2008 team has started in positive form with a test session at Kirkistown racetrack outside Kircubbin Co Down. The guys completed a few laps with the 2007 offering and the session was for the most part successful. Another test session is planned before the Christmas break , however some modifications are required before the car runs again.
The 2008 Apex Racing team has agreed to support research within the University of Ulster into the economic effects of the Irish round of the WRC - more information and pictures in the media section
